Hello all!
Just an update, I am currently on Mat Leave so I will not be taking on any new clients at this time. As for my current ones, everything stays the same as we previously spoke about before.
UNFORTUNATELY, my 2 year old has hidden my phone on me and I have been searching for it for about a week.
Currently, if you need to get ahold of me, feel free to message on here or message the automatic message that gets sent out to you. 🙃

NEWS RELEASE

Town of Pictou Partners with North Pole Headquarters to Ensure Letters to Santa Reach Their Destination

The Town of Pictou is excited to announce a special holiday arrangement with North Pole Headquarters to ensure children’s letters to Santa Claus are delivered safely this season despite the ongoing postal strike.

Mayor Jim Ryan shared the good news:

"In light of the Canada Post strike, we are pleased to announce that letters to Santa will be received at the Town Hall for the first two weeks of December."

Starting Monday, December 2nd, a festive red mailbox will be available outside the Town Administration Office for children to deposit their letters. The mailbox will remain open until Friday, December 13th.

Santa's office has confirmed that replies to all submitted letters will be delivered directly to Pictou on Monday, December 16th. Families can pick up Santa's responses from the Town Administration Office during regular business hours, Monday, December 16th to Friday, December 20th, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

CAO, Kyle Slaunwhite stated “The Town of Pictou is honoured to work with Santa and his team to bring joy to our youngest residents.” Mayor Ryan added, “We are deeply grateful to North Pole HQ for their unwavering commitment to the children of Pictou.”

CANCELATION POLICY/NO SHOW:
I hate to have to start doing this, but the day should have come long ago.

This is not a hobby. It's how I bring income in for my family. For the last 2 months, I have lost a large sum of income due to the day of cancelations and no shows.

I understand things do happen. Life happens, but I ask that you please try and respect my time. Giving me at least 24 hours notices allows me time to try and fill the spot. If not, I will have to charge a $25 dollar fee for loss of income and time that will have to be paid before the next service is booked. This goes for the clinic and mobile visits as well.

I do send email and text message reminders as well.

If you have been wondering why I have been MIA this week, it's because I have been working hard towards becoming a Certified Master Pedicurist with in Halifax!

You will also start to see a new line of professional products pop up with The Foot Remedy.

I have learned so much this week and am so excited to be able to add more to my foot care services and add to my skill list.
