Thank you to TFT Talk For Tamara and Lori Lumley for their generous gift that allowed us to create a series of short videos offering practical tips for managing anxiety, building emotional regulation, and supporting mental wellness. The videos were filmed by Paradox Images and are designed to meet youth, families, and our community where they’re at - providing simple tools that can be used anytime, anywhere.

Talk for Tamara’s mission is to support education for youth mental health and su***de prevention. Without their help this project wouldn't have been possible! Pictured, Lori and Danielle from St. Clair Child & Youth Services.

WOW! Thank you to Lady Luck Riders MC for their generous donation of $5,500 from this year's annual toy run! Over the years, they have raised thousands of dollars and tons of toys to support child and youth mental health in our community. We couldn't do it without their support!

On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we recognize and honour Survivors, their families, and the children who never returned home from residential schools. At St. Clair Child & Youth Services, our commitment is to listen, learn, and foster safe, welcoming spaces where Indigenous children, youth, and families feel respected and included. Reconciliation is an ongoing journey, and we remain dedicated to walking this path together in partnership and respect.

We are grateful to have collaborated with local Indigenous artist Kennady Osborne of Seventh Rayn Design Co.., enriching our space and honouring both the legacy of our past Executive Director and our continued work with young people and their families.

The mural in our lobby was created to embody the spirit of Sue Barnes, former Executive Director at St. Clair Child & Youth Services. The central willow tree speaks to Sue’s role as a grounding and supportive presence within our community, with its branches and roots connecting all who gather here. Chosen for its natural presence around our building, the willow ties together the animals depicted throughout the mural, signifying that Sue’s spirit remains with the trees and wildlife here at SCCYS in Point Edward. The warm, unified colours reflect both our company’s branding and our welcoming environment.

In our Early Years hallway, another mural embodies the organization’s “hands” gently supporting and uplifting families throughout their journeys. The image of the eagle soaring above was inspired by a special moment — the artist saw an eagle as work on the mural commenced, acknowledged its presence with a to***co offering, and later dreamed of it flying over a family. For the artist, the eagle was a meaningful sign, symbolizing protection and care for the families we serve.
