How you care for your skin or scalp after microneedling makes all the difference ✨

1. Hands Off: Avoid scratching, rubbing, or picking the area. Your skin and scalp are healing, and this helps prevent irritation or infection.

2. Keep It Simple: Use only gentle, hydrating products. Avoid makeup on treated skin for 24–48 hours and keep the scalp free from heavy or irritating products.

3. Pause Sweat Sessions: No intense workouts or sweating for 24–48 hours to keep bacteria away and reduce sensitivity.

4. Avoid Heat: Skip hot showers, steam, and saunas for at least 48 hours to minimize redness and inflammation.

5. Protect From Sun: Stay out of direct sun for 72 hours and prioritize protection as your skin is more vulnerable.

1. Clean Surface: Arrive with no makeup, products, or hair styling products. Your skin or scalp should be completely clean.

2. Active Ingredients: Skip retinols, acids, and strong hair/scalp treatments 5–7 days before your session to prevent irritation.

3. No Alcohol: Alcohol can increase redness, sensitivity, and bruising.

4. Skip Blood Thinners: Medications or supplements that thin the blood may increase bleeding or bruising.

5. Avoid Irritated Areas: If your skin or scalp is inflamed, sunburned, or broken out, reschedule for optimal results.
