Many people are unable to perform a bodyweight squat due to lack of mobility and lack of understanding of the movement.💪
In those cases it helps to take a step back and perform the movement with the assistance of your own arms or tools like the elastic band!
☝️The first step is to get used to the movement and the position of the squat, it will create a mind-muscle connection and make it easier to perform in the future.
✌️Second step is to get enough strength in the knees. The spanish squat is perfect for that as it provides a greater quad acrivation, and allows you to get in a deeper squat position while being comfortable on the knees.
