The health habit that actually lasts? Consistency. 🌿

We live in a quick-fix culture — always searching for the one thing that will solve everything overnight.

But meaningful changes in health rarely come from one-time solutions. Our bodies adapt over time, and supportive care often works best when it’s part of a consistent routine.

Chiropractic care isn’t just something people consider when they’re in pain. Many individuals choose to include regular chiropractic visits as part of their overall wellness approach, alongside movement, rest, nutrition, and stress management.

Think about it this way:

You don’t brush your teeth once and expect lifelong results. 🪥
You don’t exercise once and expect lasting strength. 💪
You don’t eat one nourishing meal and expect long-term energy. 🥗

Your body benefits from regular care and healthy habits over time.

In our practice, we often notice that practice members who attend care consistently — even when they’re functioning well and not experiencing symptoms — tend to demonstrate better adaptability to daily physical stressors over time.

Those who wait until discomfort arises are often focused on reacting rather than maintaining.

Perfection isn’t the goal.

Consistency is.

Showing up regularly for the habits that support your health can make a meaningful difference over time 🙌

Some of you may have seen in our December newsletter that we officially now offer two-way texting from our main office number 📱

This is just another convenient way to communicate with us—alongside phone calls, voicemails, emails, and in-person visits. Our front desk team will manage all messages and practice member communications during regular office hours, but you’re welcome to message us 24/7! 🙌

Your visit appointment reminders (sent 24 hours and 2 hours before your appointment) will now also come directly from our main office number.

If you need to book or make any adjustments to your appointment, you can now do so by text—something that wasn’t possible before!

Friendly reminder to our practice member community: we still require 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule an appointment.

Questions about this new two-way texting feature? Let us know—our team is always happy to help!

Holiday transitions can feel overwhelming when your routines and sensory world get shaken up. 🎄

The constant schedule changes, busier environments, and extra stimulation of the season can place added stress on anyone’s nervous system.

Here’s something many people don’t realize:

Our ability to adapt, stay calm, and move smoothly through transitions is closely connected to how well our nervous system is functioning.

When the nervous system is stressed or not adapting efficiently, it can feel harder to handle changes, process sensory input, and stay regulated through all the holiday excitement.

Chiropractic care focuses on supporting the spine and nervous system.

When the nervous system is able to process and respond to its environment more efficiently, many families notice things like:

✨ Smoother transitions
✨ Greater ease in busy or stimulating environments
✨ A calmer, more resilient response to stress
✨ More comfort throughout seasonal changes

We’re not trying to change who you are — we’re simply supporting the foundation: the nervous system — so you and your family can move through the holidays with more ease.

Swipe through to learn more about how the nervous system adapts during the holiday season and how chiropractic care can support overall systems. 👉

If the holidays tend to feel overwhelming for you or your family members, drop 🎄 below and we’ll share how to get started with us.

We’re here to support you leading into this busy time ❄️

A Gentle Reminder from Your PFC Team - End of Year Reminder ✨

As we approach the end of 2025, just a gentle reminder that our practice is heading into a busy season — especially with condensed days this month due to the upcoming holiday break ☃️❄️

Many practice members are also choosing to use their remaining third-party benefits and health spending accounts before the end of the year, which means appointment times can fill a little faster than usual.

If you know you need a check (or a few!), or you’re hoping to complete your care plan before the year wraps up — be sure to pre-book your visits in advance so you can secure your ideal appointment times. Prevention is key! 🔑

If we don’t have a time that you need when you call, don’t worry — we’re always happy to add you to our waitlist, and our team will reach out as soon as a spot becomes available that works for your schedule.

Call our team and grab your appointment spots while they’re still available! There are only a few spots left at the moment for new practice members to join our practice for 2025 — so don’t wait!

We’ve also just opened some of our early new-year availability, so feel free to reach out — we’re here to help you stay supported and keep your family on track as we move into 2026.

Can we be honest for a moment? 🤍

We know you’re longing for relief.
We know you’re tired.
We know it’s been hard for so long that part of you hopes one adjustment will make everything feel different.

And sometimes?
It does feel that way.
People walk out after their first visit feeling lighter, clearer, like a weight has finally shifted.

But here’s the deeper truth, said with so much care:

You can’t rush nervous system regulation.

Think of it like preparing for a marathon.

You wouldn’t expect to run the full distance without training, right?

You’d need:
→ Time to build strength
→ Consistency to create change
→ Patience on the days that feel harder

Your nervous system is no different.

If your body has been holding stress patterns for years—if you’ve been living in fight-or-flight, functional freeze, or constant survival mode—it takes more than one adjustment to fully unwind that.

Each adjustment is like a training session.

It helps your body reorganize. Adapt. Learn new patterns. It builds capacity, resilience, and safety—little by little.

And just like training, some sessions feel incredible, and others feel challenging. Some weeks bring big breakthroughs; other weeks move more gently and quietly.

And if you’re feeling deeply dysregulated—so frozen or overwhelmed that you can’t even feel shifts yet—it simply means your system needs more time.

Not because you’re failing, but because your body needs more time to reorganize, to remember what safety feels like.

This isn’t about quick fixes.

This is about commitment to you!

Commitment to showing up, to trusting the process, to giving your body the support that it needs.🤎

You didn’t arrive at this state overnight.
And healing doesn’t happen overnight either.

But every check and adjustment moves you forward.

Every visit teaches your nervous system how to adapt, how to unwind, how to thrive again.

Chiropractic isn’t just a moment—it’s a lifestyle, and it’s the foundation for how your nervous system grows, strengthens, and responds from here on out.

You’re welcome here—exactly as you are 🌿

The biggest myth in healthcare?

“I feel fine, so I must BE fine.” 🤔

Here’s something important to understand: many changes in the body and nervous system can develop long before you notice any symptoms. Sensations like pain are not the first sign that something is happening — they are often one of the last. 🚨

Think about it… your heart beats 100,000 times a day without you feeling it. Your immune system responds to countless things without you knowing. Your digestive system works while you sleep.

All of this coordination happens through your nervous system — completely behind the scenes.

So when we ask, “How are you feeling?” we’re really asking a deeper question:

What we really want to know is: “How is your nervous system functioning?”

At PFC, we don’t rely solely on how someone feels. We look deeper. Our INSiGHT technology helps us observe how the nervous system is adapting and responding to daily life — offering information that goes beyond what you may notice or feel.

Many people choose regular check-ins because they want to understand how their nervous system is functioning over time, not just how they’re feeling on a given day.

Your body is always working hard for you — often without you noticing. Learning more about how your nervous system is functioning can offer helpful insight into how your body is adapting beneath the surface.

Ready to see what’s happening with your system behind the scenes?

The team was feeling funny this week….. 💀😂

If you saw our skeleton hanging and waiting for our docs out in the practice lobby, we hope it gave you a little laugh. 🦴🎃

We tasked our PFC littles with naming our new practice skeleton — and they did not disappoint! Here are some of the creative (and hilarious) names we received throughout the week:

🦴 Bonee
🦴 Cat
🦴 Mira
🦴 Skuly
🦴 Spookyly
🦴 Rose
🦴 Mr. Bones
🦴 Mr. Cracker
🦴 Skeleton
🦴 Ribert
🦴 Joints
🦴 Boot
🦴 Kevin
🦴 Jack
🦴 Bubbles
🦴 Pippo – Bag o’ Bones

How could we possibly pick just one when they’re all so great?! 😄

A huge thank-you to all our PFC littles for sharing your creativity and giggles with our team this week — you truly made our week!

Wishing all of our PFC families a safe, happy, and healthy Halloween weekend ahead! 🎃🧡

We’re back in the practice and ready to serve this morning!

Our team is back in practice this morning — open today through Saturday this week — feeling refreshed and inspired after an incredible weekend (two full days of learning!) in Vancouver with the ICPA 🤰👩‍🍼👶🏼

Our docs spent the weekend deepening their knowledge in perinatal chiropractic care and the Webster Technique through the ICPA with the amazing Dr. Jen Santos.

It was the perfect time to reconnect and expand our understanding, especially with both of our docs’ passion for serving women through every stage of life — from pregnancy and birth to the postpartum journey.

We’re so grateful for opportunities like these to keep learning, growing, and showing up as a stronger team to be able to serve our PFC community — however you come through our doors. 🤍
