Hydration:
——————————————————————————————————————————————————
💧The Unsung Hero of Your Recovery 💧
Did you know that how much water you drink can directly impact how your body feels — and how your tissues respond during a massage?
Your muscles, fascia, joints, and nervous system rely on proper hydration to:
✨ Reduce post-treatment soreness
✨ Improve circulation and tissue recovery
✨ Decrease stiffness and inflammation
✨ Support lymphatic flow and detoxification
✨ Help your body hold the benefits of your massage longer
👀 Here’s something most people don’t realize:
Massage therapists can often tell when your body is dehydrated.
How?
When tissues are under-hydrated, they tend to feel dense, sticky, ropey, or resistant instead of supple and elastic. Dehydration can also show up as increased tenderness, slower tissue response, and even lingering soreness after treatment.
Hydrated tissue, on the other hand, moves more freely, responds better to treatment, and recovers faster.
💡 Think of massage as the reset — hydration is what helps your body maintain it.
So before and after your next session, sip intentionally. Water supports the work we do together and helps your body heal more efficiently between appointments.
Your friendly reminder from your massage therapist:
✔️ Drink the water
✔️ Support your recovery
✔️ Let your body do what it does best — heal
