It has been 6 and 1/2 months in my new space at Earned Fitness in Ponoka and I am loving it!!!

Thank you to my dedicated clients who have trusted my care and supported my growth for nearly 25 years as well as new clients who were brave enough to try something different. I appreciate you all!!!

I am happy to say that I have joined Earned Fitness as a gym member and have seen amazing improvements with my mobility, strength and a massive decrease in the level of pain I was experiencing post cervical spine surgery. The group of people at Earned are kind, caring and dedicated. I am thankful for all of your encouragement and helping me feel a sense of belonging. You are all wonderful people!!

Lastly…..

I finally got a window vinyl so my amazing clients know they are in the right place.

Let me tell you if you’re hurting and need help she is amazing!! I keep telling people feel like I have new legs!! 😂 For real though she knows more about the body than any other person I’ve ever met and she helps you have a new understanding of your body and how to work with it moving forward, whether you’ve injured yourself or you’ve just been standing wrong forever(thanks hypermobility 😆)!! Thank you to everyone who voted for me in the “Best of Ponoka” Readers Choice Awards 2025. I have had the privilege of working with amazing clients and colleagues over the past 25 years. You all have played a role in who I am, not only as a massage therapist but as a person. A lot of you have supported me at my best and my worst and have “stuck” with me through the trials and tribulations of my body. I am looking forward to the adventures that the future brings both professionally and personally. Thank you with all of my heart.

Interesting read. Research in the massage and manual therapy world is improving all the time. Don’t forget that a large part of your success is movement.

I have been settling in nicely at my new space inside of Earned Fitness 🏋️
It’s been 1.5 months and the support from my family, clients and the gym members has been encouraging and heartwarming.

It’s been a rainy weekend, but the town sure is green and my doggos are pretty dirty!!!

I have a couple of updates for you all….

1. I am no longer pursuing a website, so please disregard the web address on my business cards, i am currently in the works to get new ones made. The Jane app is still good to use. manualtherapywithdenise.janeapp.com

2. I am now set up for direct billing with Alberta Blue Cross. And will be chatting with Telus Health eClaims in the morning to get everything finalized with participating insurers like Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield Canada and many mire

3. I can now take credit card payment on my Jane app starting July 21st. Unfortunately the Jane payment machine won’t be arriving until next week but I will still accept cash or e-transfer.

4. There are only a few availability’s left for July 21st through the 25th, so if you are interested you can head over to my Jane app, call or email me.
