✨Trade Opportunity!

Last night I dreamt of soo many people connecting with me about plants. I was interviewed for my outstanding program (the interviewers words!), someone approached me in the grocery store to talk about the sustainability of wild crafted echinacea, and (my favorite) our simple little class was interrupted by a huge troupe of singers and dancers and performers that circled my whole yard with total joy!!🌿

I took this as a sign that SO MANY people are searching for this healing art in their lives!

I am kind of terrible at promoting things. Thankfully, I have the amazing Tanja Rohn to help me (ahem, do a lot of it FOR me) but I would totally prefer to stay kind of witch in the forest- like, and have people magically find me! :) But I try…. I took a video for instagram today! Usually Tanja has my back with cool sophisticated equipment- today I stuck a shovel in the earth and attached my phone to it. Anyone walking by would have seen me in deep and honest conversation with my garden shovel!

So sometimes I don’t promote well, or involve shovels in the process. But I genuinely know that herbalism brings SO much richness into people’s lives. I know how people long for the type of community that I get to be a part of, both plant community and plant-people community.

And I want it to be accessible. Every year, a few spots are filled with people who offer trade as part payment for the Soul of Herbalism program. This is a win win, as I get help in the garden and they gain experience with tending plant friends.

We just began a new offering of Soul of Herbalism called ‘Spirit Drop’ (Year 3) on Monday. It was so beautiful to sink right into community and drop right into our herb explorations.

I asked for feedback for this new offering and here is what some of my dear students wrote!

Truly, this work is a sustaining force in my life. A co created, magical, synchronistic celebration of life each class, each group, each week.

I’m so grateful for this practice and these people in my life.

It is literally my favourite thing in the world to sit in circle with others who are called to this path.

Watching students discover and develop their innate skills and inner knowing about plants is so powerful.

The Soul of Herbalism Program began because 2 people asked me where they could study herbs that was NOT online.

That little question grew into a beautifully cultivated program.

It felt from the beginning as if it had a life if it’s own. I planned and prepared of course, but the sycronisities and flow came from the plants and the group itself.

I didn’t expect that- the community that would form. That first dear group that helped to co create this program called themselves Herb Sisters. There are still ongoing connections between them...and of course a deep connection to the plant allies they have found.

We share observations from our bodies and hearts in a vulnerable way. Sitting in circle, week after week, showing up in presence for others- this is magic.

It can be hard to find like minded people who love Natures medicine with all of their hearts. Gathering together has been a relevation and relief for us all.

The women who join this circle cherish these connections. I’ve been blessed to see and participate in this deep bond. The universe has conspired to draw these people together as we all have something to learn that goes beyond plant medicine.

I’m so so excited to welcome the first registrant for the 2025 year, and can’t wait to see the group that will form. Are you called?

Connecting with the plants as complex, whole beings meets us as complex, whole humans. Throughout the Soul of Herbalism Program we connect with Nature, and with our own true selves.

Meditations and relationship with the Plant Spirit opens the doorway to the wisdom of all things. Different ways to tap into our own intuition are woven throughout our learning, and a core of this course.

Reflections and meditation with Plant Spirit will help us deepen into our herbal study.
