As many of you might know, I am pretty quiet on social media, but I want you and your loved ones to know that I am here if you ever need my help.
In 2022 I became a naturopathic doctor here in British Columbia and have had the honour of working alongside my peers and elders in Toronto, Dundas, Vancouver, and Kamloops. You all have taught me so much and continue to shape me into the physician I want to be, and for that I am eternally grateful. I am excited to bring your teachings back to help those in my hometown of Port Alberni, as well as virtually serve patients residing in other communities of British Columbia.
If you take anything away from this post I want to impart that you have a choice in health care. You deserve to be presented with all the natural and pharmaceutical based treatments that exist for your condition, so that you can choose what feels true to you. Some of us naturopathic doctors may even have the option to prescribe both natural and pharmaceutical medications.
