Irene

My name's Irene and I'm an intuitive, a medium, and a healer. I offer Psychic Mediumship, Intuitive Tarot, Mentorship and Soulful Coaching sessions, via phone/Facetime/zoom. My services arise from a background including
- BA in Child and Youth Care,
- Jin Shin Do® BodyMind Acupressurist
- Reiki Master/Teacher
- Certified Yoga Teacher specializing in Yin Yoga.
- Meditation and embodiment practices to ground and center me and my services.
- Trauma informed
- And of course, a connection with my spiritual self and the spirit world

As an intuitive I see and feel the energy of people and places, and I use this sensitively to help others. As a medium I communicate with spirit and receive messages and guidance from loved ones who've crossed over, as well as from angels and guides. I also love to use the Tarot as a tool to connect more deeply with subtle energy of our lives, patterns, with our soul, and with the path that is for our highest and best - all on the energy of love, hope, and inspiration. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Or to book a session with me:

I have butterflies in my tummy because I’m finally getting back to work today!! 🎉 I’ve been off for about 5 weeks helping family during illness and am grateful that things are improving for them, and also for my life to be returning to more of a routine. 🙏❤️

And yay my books are open again!✨🥰

My deepest gratitude to all of my clients who have been so patient and understanding during this difficult time. You are absolutely the best! 🥰😘😍

I believe that everyone has now been contacted and rebooked. If however, in the craziness of these last 5 weeks I’ve missed you please don’t hesitate to contact me!!

I had been living almost 3 weeks without wifi and poor cell coverage, and that coupled with the busyness of the days meant that I hadn’t spent much time on the social media either. Even emailing was an issue. And responses to messages slow. However every cloud has a silver lining, and it was a bit of a blessing to disengage from the internet and social media for a while.

So some folks have been asking about my next Yin Yoga set. It will start up in late March (after spring break), still Friday mornings at 10:00. Exact dates and series length to be announced soon. ✨

Glad to be back and sending you lots of love. ❤️ 🌙✨

Both are true at the same time.

Both are true at the same time.

The world is both burning and blooming.

You get the bad news and the sunrise in the same day.

You cry over the headlines, then you laugh at a baby wearing a hat shaped like a bear.

This is the dual citizenship of being alive.

Rage and reverence.
Grief and grace.
You are allowed to feel both.

You are allowed to scream and still notice how good the soup is.

You don't have to choose.
Let it all in.

I take comfort from these words by John O’Donahue.
I take comfort remembering that here,
in mid winter,
that it’s in fact a time to be slow,
and that I can lie low to the wall
until the bitter weather passes.

I can remember to not take seriously that doubt which sometimes seeps in with the cold dark and seems to want to scrape from my heart all sense of myself.

I lie low to the wall.
I keep close to the fires that warm my heart.

And I dream of imbolc, I dream of spring.
Roots, rhizomes, mycelium, sprouts, and buds. Yes buds. Sweet green and stretching. Waking up again to the world of light.

🌱 If you long for deep rest. And would like to join with a group of souls who are on a 7 week journey of waking up to the light, I have 4 spots still open in my Friday morning yin yoga classes. DM me if you’re at all interested.

Classes held in person in Port Alberni, BC.

THIS IS THE TIME TO BE SLOW
This is the time to be slow,
Lie low to the wall
Until the bitter weather passes.
Try, as best you can, not to let
The wire brush of doubt
Scrape from your heart
All sense of yourself
And your hesitant light.
If you remain generous,
Time will come good;
And you will find your feet
Again on fresh pastures of promise,
Where the air will be kind
And blushed with beginning.

John O’Donohue

Starts this Friday Jan 23! There are still a few spaces left in this 7 Week Yin Yoga Set

Fridays Jan 23 - March 6 10:00 - 11:15 am (75 minutes)
Alberni Natural Health Group Building
4711 Elizabeth St, Port Alberni, BC

This yin yoga series will include a fair share of restorative postures to support deep rest during the winter days, along with poses that provide a gentle awakening of our energetic body as we move towards spring!

Our theme will center on supporting the kidney and wood elements. In Five Element theory and Traditional Chinese Medicine, kidney is associated with the deep rest and restoration of winter, and wood is associated with new beginnings and growth of spring.

This series is soulful, and beginner-friendly while also offering depth for long-time practitioners.

Yin yoga is a style that emphasizes long-held, passive stretches, great for releasing the deeper connective tissue of the body.
It’s a mindful practice that nourishes the energy system, and helps to regulate the nervous system.

Please bring a yoga mat, a towel or blanket to use as a prop and for covering during savasana (final resting pose), and any bolsters or blocks you’d like for additional support during practice.

Fee for the 7 week/75 minute series is $140

And here your reveal!

Left: Empress: The Empress embodies the creative, nurturing force of life, inviting us to rest into abundance, sensuality, and the intelligence of the natural world. She reminds us that growth happens through presence, care, and allowing rather than striving.
How can you ease into this energy at this time?

Right: Two of Pentacles: The energy of this card speaks to the dance of balance, asking us to stay flexible as we juggle priorities and shifting energies. It reminds us that harmony is not found in perfection, but in our ability to adapt with awarenes and grace.
Also, how can you bring some levity and laughter into your life?

Our Story

Welcome to my page. My name's Irene and I'm a healer and an intuitive and for the past 10 years I’ve been supporting people with body-mind-soul healing. I use a very holistic approach, and integrate experience in a counselling field background with Jin Shin Do Acupressure, Reiki, intuitive counselling, mediumship, yoga and meditation. The bodywork I offer helps relieve pain and various physical and emotional issues. I use a mindful and trauma sensitive approach, integrating chinese acupuncture theory, Taoism, myofacial release, and somatic awareness.

I feel the energy of people and places, and use this sensitively to help people to live a more balanced and empowered life. As a medium I communicate with spirit and receive messages and guidance from loved ones who've crossed over, as well as from angels and guides. And a perfect compliment to all of this, is to practice and teach yin yoga and meditation. It really helps me to keep grounded and centred, and in turn I can share with others what has been of such huge benefit to me. I’m vey grateful and honoured to work with each person who comes my way, and feel honoured to work with Spirit in being a channel for physical, emotional and spiritual healing. I'm also married to a very amazing man that I adore, and have three wonderful grown children, as well as a very sweet black lab named Taz. I live on beautiful Vancouver Island, and love being near water, lots of trees and green spaces. I love yoga, meditation, writing some poetry, hiking and playing with energy and growing and learning in all things spiritual. I also love music, and cozying up next to our fireplace with a great book - usually something spiritual or soul-full, as I love exploring new thoughts and learning new ideas. I invite you to take a look through my website to learn more about my offerings and also to see what people have said about their experience in working with me. xo
