Hospice Muskoka When all that can be done to cure has been done and to no avail, then the focus must shift to improving the quality of life that remains.

Hospice Muskoka is a volunteer-driven, community based, not-for-profit organization providing compassionate support to individuals and their loved ones of all ages and backgrounds, who are coping with end-of-life issues and bereavement. Hospice Muskoka is located and operates Andy's House a Residential Hospice and Palliative Care Community Hub for South and West Muskoka.

Calling all brave souls! Join Hospice Muskoka for our second annual polar plunge fundraiser–Plunge for Palliative Care! On Saturday, April 11 at 1 PM, we’ll gather at the public dock on West Street in Port Carling to take the icy leap together. Then, warm up with us at Andy’s House! Not local but still want to join the fun? Register and take the plunge where you are!

How to participate:
➡️ Register as an individual or as a team.
➡️ Find sponsors to support your bravery.
➡️ Help us raise $14,000 for palliative care in our community.

Our Story

Hospice Muskoka is a volunteer driven, community based, not-for-profit organization providing compassionate support to individuals and their loved ones of all ages and backgrounds, who are coping with end-of-life issues and bereavement.

Hospice Muskoka has been serving the residents of South and West Muskoka since 1995 in the communities of Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Port Carling, Bala, Mactier, Honey Harbour, Kilworthy, Severn Bridge, Vankoughnet and all areas in between!

Specially trained visiting volunteers provide non-medical, supportive care with a focus on the emotional and social needs of our clients and their families where ever they live – at home, in hospital, retirement and nursing homes.
