This morning I slept till 7am (this is huge), I crawled in bed with my Charlie to wake him up, I made him fresh protein pancakes, drank hot coffee with Doug out of a mug instead of my Yeti on the go, got a hug and a kiss and an “I love you more” as Charlie went off on the bus 🥹
Today is my first of many Tuesdays off for the summer. These Tuesday morning activities may all seem like mundane, everyday things, but as an early riser off to move with all of you, I rarely get morning moments at home with my boys. For me, this mid-week day off where the only people I have to be “on” for is my family and myself — this is a huge part of what healthy looks like for me.
And as much as I LOOOOOVE fitness and strength training and nutrition and all of that typical “healthy” stuff, it’s not what it’s all about. Listen to the little cues in your life that speak to what makes you happy, even if it’s just a Tuesday morning off. Healthy is an outfit that looks different and beautiful on everybody — “dress” in style my friends!
