Update on our recent mishap!
A colleague asked us yesterday how our “drive-thru” venture was going?
After 2 msec of thought on this, we decided we still prefer walk-in services, so the wall underneath our broken window is currently being fixed. A replacement window will come later.
It’s challenging for any business to have repairs done during opening hours but try doing them when you’re a hearing clinic! We built our clinic with excellent sound attenuation in mind but it’s no match for jackhammers, power drills, and nail guns!
We’ve given out hearing protection for our front office staff and clients in the waiting room and we’ve had to pause our testing in between the raucous bangs, whacks, whirs and yammers.
So a friendly reminder to everyone to use hearing protection when handling loud tools. And if you prefer custom ear plugs, contact us today and we can take impressions of your ears and order customized hearing protection for you. And we’ll give you some disposable ear plugs for the interim if you arrive when the construction is going on!
We are very thankful no one, including the driver, was injured in this incident and that the aftermath is just a temporary inconvenience. Let’s be careful out there! And protect your hearing while you’re at it :)
