Very Important & Good News for Port Coquitlam!
I’m pleased to see the Province announce a new Urgent and Primary Care Centre opening March 26 right here in our community.
📍 150-820 Village Drive (Fremont Village)
🕘 Open 7 days a week, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
As our city has grown, access to health care has been a challenge for our residents - with too many people unable to access the service they need and deserve. For years I’ve been pushing, with our council, for the Province to expand health services in Port Coquitlam — because our residents deserve access to care close to home.
Our advocacy has paid off!!!
The centre will provide same-day care for non-life-threatening issues like minor injuries, infections, and other urgent concerns that need attention within 12–24 hours. It has the capacity to handle up to 60,000 patient visits annually, helping residents get care faster while reducing pressure on emergency rooms. 
Residents can walk in or call ahead, and patients will be seen based on urgency.
Port Coquitlam families shouldn’t have to leave the city to get the care they need. I’ll keep advocating to ensure our growing community gets the services it deserves.
