No two people grieve in the same way.

For me, Triangle Pose (Trikonasana) helps me find grounding when everything feels unsteady. It offers balance, strength, and a way to calm the anxious waves while opening the heart for healing.

Grief moves through me differently each day. Sometimes there’s peace and stillness. Other days, I’m on my knees, weeping, with a heart that feels shattered. Both are part of the journey.

How do you find support and grounding in your own grief?

Even in the restful season of summer, we can find ourselves feeling scattered, anxious, or disconnected. This 2,5 hour yoga therapy workshop is an invitation to come home to your breath, body, and inner steadiness.
Guided by the wisdom of the koshas—the five layers of the self—this session blends gentle movement, breathwork, and deep rest to support the nervous system, soften tension, and restore a sense of grounded presence.
Whether you’re navigating grief, stress, or simply seeking reconnection, this workshop offers a safe space to slow down and listen inward.
No previous yoga experience is needed—come just as you are.

We’re all moving through our own quiet challenges right now, doing our best to understand ourselves and the world around us.

If you're feeling heavy, uncertain, or simply tired — I want to offer some words that I hope feel comforting.

The nervous system doesn’t heal in spaces that demand performance.
It heals in presence.

When we’re met in our grief, anxiety, or pain — not with advice or solutions, but with someone who simply says “I’m here. I see you.” — our body hears: It’s safe now.

Cortisol softens.
Oxytocin rises.
And slowly… we begin to breathe again.

You didn’t need fixing.
You didn’t need to be told to “move on.”
You needed someone who stayed.
Who made it safe to feel.

That’s how healing begins.
Not through perfection — but through presence.

And maybe, just maybe… today that person could be you.
The one who holds space for your own heart.
Who meets yourself with gentleness.
Who says, “I’m here. And that’s enough.”

May you find the spaces that let your system soften and rest.
And if you’re looking for one, I’d be honoured to hold that space for you. 💫

When life feels overwhelming—when stress, grief, or change takes hold—there’s often a part of us that wants to escape.

We might bury ourselves in work, numb out with distractions, or reach for anything that keeps us from feeling the weight of it all.

But avoiding what’s real only deepens the disconnection.

If your heart feels heavy, broken, or empty…
It may be time to come back home.

Not to force or fix anything—
But to gently return to your breath, your body, and the wisdom that lives within you.

Yoga therapy offers a path back to presence.
To feeling, healing, and being with what is.

One breath at a time. One small step toward wholeness.

Sometimes, the slow, intentional movements of yoga therapy — guided by the wisdom of the koshas — can feel intense or even overwhelming for those who aren’t yet ready to journey inward. In contrast, fast, dynamic movement — like running or flowing quickly — can become a way of escaping rather than arriving.

Are you truly coming home to yourself, or are you staying busy to avoid what’s within? Are you moving fast to avoid stillness… or are you ready to live with deeper awareness?

If this speaks to you, join me in class at Sadhana Yoga and Sound. Let’s gently slow down, breathe, and begin the journey back home — to yourself.💫

I’m pausing with you today to reflect on something simple but powerful—gratitude.

Today, I’m feeling grateful—for this space, for the connection, and for the small moments that bring us back to ourselves.

Gratitude is a gentle opening and expansion of the heart and love for the past, the present and the future.

Gratitude isn't just about acting like everything is perfect. It's more about noticing what's already around us — the stillness, the beauty, the breath, the flowers, the sun, the rain, the moon, the sky, our loved ones — even when things are uncertain.

Gratitude reminds us of all the love we hold in our hearts. It helps us open and soften our hearts, soften the edges. It gently brings us back into the here and now, the present moment.

It is not about escaping our feelings.
It is not to trick us into feeling better.
It reminds us of the light that always shines in our hearts, even in difficult and challenging times.

Now. Especially now.
Grateful. 💫

Remember to breathe.
Even one mindful breath can shift your entire state.

Your breath is always with you —
A quiet, powerful way to calm your emotions and soothe your nervous system.

Inhale calm. Exhale tension.
You’re safe to soften.💫

After a long, deep sleep and rest during winter, much like a flower bud patiently waiting, the dark times can feel nurturing yet heavy. Now, as we gather the strength from our heart and center to open and grow, let's ground ourselves in the comforting embrace of Mother Earth. Together, we can rise to meet the light and share it.

I hope you find joy in the lightness around you. May your heart feel a sense of relief and trust that you're on the right path. 💫🌷

Starting March 21st Friday evening , and every Friday after that, I’ll be offering a Restorative Yoga class at Sadhana Yoga & Sound. I know how busy and stressful our weeks can get, so this class is designed to help you unwind and ease into the weekend with a sense of calm and peace.
I truly hope you can join me and find some much-needed relaxation! 💫

Class description:

A restorative yoga sequence typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest.
During the long holds of restorative yoga, your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. It's a unique feeling because props, rather than your muscles, are used to support your body. Restorative classes are very mellow, making them a good complement to more active practices (as well as our busy lives) and an excellent antidote to stress. Stillness is a powerful practice.

This restorative yoga class is designed to soothe and heal, incorporating techniques to calm the vagus nerve and promote deep relaxation. This class will include practices to help create a healthy vagal tone with gentle movements and restorative poses, conscious Pranayama/breath practices, mindfulness, a more extended Savasana, and guided meditation to restore balance and tranquillity to the body and mind.

These practices will help you better manage stress and reclaim emotional balance.

The vagus nerve is essential for emotional and physical health. It extends from the brainstem to the stomach and influences the heart, lungs, throat, and facial muscles. Yoga practices and slower therapeutic movements help activate these areas and enhance vagus nerve function.

Doesn’t it sound absolutely enchanting? Come and embark on this journey with me!
