She's here! At long last, we are SO excited to welcome our Chiropractic Intern, Isabel to the Bruce Village team.

~ passion ~ connectivity ~ community ~

Her passion for care grew through connection with people, community, and the small moments that happen when someone finally feels heard. Isabel has fallen in love with small-town living and the sense of connection it brings. As an intern, Isabel is committed to continual learning and growth with the goal of supporting patients in Bruce County by making care feel accessible, comfortable, and personal.

Isabel will be working alongside Dr. B until May, and has availability to take on new chiropractic patients as well!!

Why see an intern?
- Isabel, as a current student, is as up to date as she'll ever be on research evidence
- receive TWO brains (and sometimes four hands) of care - Isabel's and Dr. B's!
- you can take part in the education of the next generation of healthcare providers

Now taking orders for FOAM ROLLERS!! Available at long last, and by hugely popular request. These foam rollers are a clinic favourite among staff (Dr. B) and patients.

The rollers are 6" in diameter, and available in:
- extra large, 39" length (if you've used the clinic roller it's this one!)
- medium, 18" length

With our first blast of wintery weather on the way, we wanted to remind you of our winter weather cancellation policy.

Some friendly reminders:
- if you cannot make your appointment please let us know ASAP. We often have folks looking to get in from the waitlist and sooner notice means they can make it.
- there is NO CHARGE for a weather related cancellation.
- you may contact us by phone, text, email, or Instagram DM
- we will text and/or email you if your appointment is cancelled (if the clinic is closed or your practitioner can't make it in safely).

Above all, please be safe! Please don't travel if you don't feel comfortable doing so.

Okay so gave me the cutest opportunity to reintroduce myself with our hockey photos... So hi!

I'm Dr. B the chiropractor, owner, and now only practitioner at Bruce Village Chiropractic. I've been a chiropractor for five years now, spending all of those years in Port Elgin. While I treat everyone, I find a special joy in treating babes, helping folks have the most comfortable pregnancy possible, and helping new moms and parents return to the activities they love after having their babies.

When I'm not at work you'll find me hanging with my sweet and funny two year old, tending to chickens, on the trails with my dogs, and of course at the arena with my U18 girls.

So hi!! Nice to see you all again 💚💚

Today can be the start of something good. ⬇️

Hey insta (and Facebook) fam, it’s been a minute. 2025 has come with its challenges and triumphs and I took some time away from socials while I focused on patient care and (my) family care.

But I miss the community I created here back in 2020 when I first opened the account. So I’m back, but I’m going to try to be back on my terms. I am excited to share my new space, my new offerings, and updates as they come at the end of 2025 and 2026. And I’m going to try not to worry about engagement metrics, catching trends, and posting algorithm-preferred content.

Because what’s important. Community. Your care. Sharing in health. Sharing information.

So let’s give this another go. Stay tuned for pics of the new space, new setup, and maybe some chicken content too. I look forward to being here with you all again.
