Some of you might not know this, but Morgan isn’t just an incredible chiropractor — she’s also an exceptional goalie and goalie coach 🥅👏

As she wraps up her goalie development program with the and Saugeen Maitland Lighting, we wanted to take a moment to recognize the huge impact she’s making both in our clinic and in the hockey community.

Morgan brings the same knowledge, precision, and passion to the ice as she does to patient care. When she’s not helping people move better, recover faster, and stay healthy, she’s focused on developing strong, resilient goalies — with an emphasis on proper movement patterns, injury prevention, and long-term athletic development.
Her background in biomechanics and athletic performance allows her to support goalies in a truly unique way, helping them build skills that extend far beyond the crease.

We’re proud to have Morgan as part of our clinic team and grateful for the positive impact she continues to make in our community.

👏 Great work, Morgan!

Another great morning of learning at the clinic 👏

During this month's Clinic Rounds, our team came together to collaborate, share knowledge, and continue strengthening the care we provide to our patients. We dove into common wrist and hand conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, De Quervain’s tenosynovitis, contractures, and trigger finger—reviewing assessment strategies, treatment approaches, and clinical pearls to support better outcomes.

Ongoing education is something we truly value. By investing in regular team learning, we ensure our patients receive thoughtful, evidence-informed care every time they walk through our doors.

Proud to be part of a team committed to growing, learning, and delivering the highest standard of care 💙

💡 Support Your Recovery with Class IV Laser Therapy!

Do you have an acute injury? Whether it’s a sprain, strain, or soft tissue injury, laser therapy is a modality that can be used to support healing as part of a comprehensive treatment plan ⚡

Class IV laser therapy uses focused light energy that penetrates injured tissue and stimulates cellular activity. This process supports inflammation management and increased circulation, helping deliver oxygen and nutrients needed for tissue repair while also assisting with pain reduction.

The goal of laser therapy is to:
✅ Reduce pain and swelling
✅ Increase circulation to support tissue repair
✅ Support recovery so you can return to activity sooner

Do you have an injury? Let’s talk about whether laser therapy could be added to your recovery plan as you actively work toward your rehabilitation goals with your physiotherapist or chiropractor. Contact the clinic today at 519-832-6688.

*Results may vary. BCCR cannot guarantee outcomes, as each patient responds differently to treatment.*

💪🎀🐉 Strength, community, and resilience in action

We recently had the privilege of hosting a strength training class for members of Bernie’s Boat, a team of breast cancer survivors from Bruce and Grey Counties. The class was led by Jenna Dreyer of Strong Like a Lady, who guided the group through empowering sessions focused on building strength and confidence.

🎀 Bernie’s Boat is a supportive community of breast cancer survivors who first came together in 2024 through dragon boat paddling. By paddling as a team, they support their physical health, emotional well-being, and create lasting friendships. The team is named in honor of Bernie Schlauch, the founder of the Grey Bruce Dragon Boat Club, who passed away from metastatic breast cancer before she had the chance to create a team of breast cancer survivors.

Since becoming a charitable organization in 2025, Bernie’s Boat has launched its own boat, Pearl, and has been an active presence in the community—training regularly, participating in local events and regattas, and continuing to promote participation, inclusion, and recovery through movement.

We’re proud to support groups like Bernie’s Boat and grateful to Jenna for sharing her expertise and energy with such an inspiring crew. 💙

During this month's Clinical Rounds we discussed Lateral Epicondylitis, also known as tennis elbow. 💪🎾

Our team reviewed current research papers, recent changes in best practice, and evolving treatment protocols to ensure our approach reflects the most up-to-date evidence.

There’s something special about getting our chiropractors and physiotherapists together in one room with a shared goal: better outcomes for our patients. When different perspectives come together, injuries are looked at more completely, treatment plans become more thoughtful, and care becomes more effective. Collaboration allows us to challenge ideas, share expertise, and tailor approaches that truly fit the person in front of us—not just the injury. 🧠✨

This kind of teamwork is what allows us to deliver care that’s truly patient-centred. 💙

Long trips can take a toll on your body — but small changes can make a big difference:

✅ Pack smart – Use wheeled luggage & avoid one-shoulder bags.
✅ Move often – Stretch or walk every 1–2 hours during travel.
✅ Support your spine – Bring a lumbar roll or use a rolled-up sweater.
✅ Hydrate & fuel up – It helps reduce inflammation and keeps your body moving better.
✅ Stretch post-travel – Loosen up tight muscles when you arrive.

Have travel goals or concerns?

Whether you’re planning to walk longer distances, tackle more stairs, or manage a specific issue while you're away — we can help. Let’s create a plan so you can move confidently and comfortably throughout your trip. 🧭
