🎯 Phishing & Social Engineering: What You Need to Know 🎯
Cybercriminals use phishing and social engineering to trick you into giving up personal info—like passwords, banking details, or health data. These scams often look legitimate and play on urgency or fear.

🔍 Real-life examples:
• A fake email from “Netflix” saying your account is suspended and asking you to log in.
• A phone call pretending to be from your bank, asking you to confirm your card number.
• A text message claiming to be from Canada Post, asking for a delivery fee.

🔐 Why it matters:
Falling for these scams can lead to identity theft, financial loss, or unauthorized access to your accounts.

✅ How to protect yourself:
• Don’t click on suspicious links or attachments.
• Verify unexpected messages or calls—even if they seem legit.
• Use multifactor authentication (MFA) for extra security.
• Report phishing attempts to your email provider or IT support.

When Scheduling Your Mammogram.
Try to book your mammogram for a time when your breast are not tender.
Your breast may be tender:
- the week before and after your period
- if you have drinks with caffeine (like coffee, tea or other drinks high in caffeine)

The Day of Your Mammogram:
- wear a 2-piece outfit (like a top and pants) because you will be asked to take off your top
- Do not use deodorants, antiperspirants, body lotions or talcum powders because they affect the accuracy of the mammogram

🛡️ October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month! 🛡️

🔐 5 Fast Facts About Multifactor Authentication (MFA) 🔐
Want stronger protection for your online accounts? MFA adds layers of security that go beyond just passwords. Here’s what you should know:

1️⃣ MFA uses two or more steps to verify your identity—like a password plus a code or fingerprint.
2️⃣ It blocks over 99% of automated cyberattacks, even if your password is compromised.
3️⃣ Authenticator apps (like Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator) are more secure than SMS codes, which can be intercepted.
4️⃣ Biometric options like fingerprint or facial recognition add convenience and security.
5️⃣ Most major platforms support MFA, including email, banking, and social media—enable it wherever you can!

Protect your digital life with MFA—it’s simple, effective, and essential. 🛡️
