No two days are the same.

A lot of my work is thinking on my feet and adapting to client needs, moment to moment.

Plans can be made and intentions can be set, but in true human fashion we are always ebbing and flowing. Our moods change, behaviours fluctuate, needs evolve, and interests can come and go. This is especially true with folks who are living with dementia.

Flexibility and ability to adapt is part of my lived experience and work experience, and I’m so happy to bring that to the table when I visit with my clients!

Whatever the day brings, whether it be a challenge or a glowing rainbow - I’m happy to adapt, be creative, and think outside the box.

🍂 How is it AUTUMN already! 🍂

This is my favourite time of year, and one of the best seasons to do neighborhood walks with clients as a meaningful activity.

There are so many things to talk about - the changing colours, the smell of leaves, what the animals are doing, fun activities we did as kids during fall, chores to do outside around the house.

The scenery is gorgeous, we're in the last few months to get out before the snow comes, and simply put:
🍂 exercise + fresh air = a happy and active brain! 🍂
