The Healing Tribe My name is Rosario Tate and I am so happy to share with you how my own self discovery journey began. therapist, Shamanic practitioner, and Tarot reader.

The Healing Tribe is an initiative to bring community together by offering ceremony circles, classes and effective holistic therapies that promote relaxation, mindfulness and balance for optimal body-mind-soul wellbeing. I left my native Lima, Peru in 2010 to travel the world, to research and look for the sacred knowledge that would later help me overcome physical pain and personal challenges. Fro

m the Himalayas to the coasts of South India, the high Andes and the Atlas Mountains, ancient Celtic villages in Europe or the Sahara desert, every single place left a permanent imprint and shared teachings that became my initiation in the spiritual path. I am an energy healer and I have had the privilege to receive teachings and training from amazing and compassionate Masters from different traditions and cultures who helped me expand my innate gifts and to become a Certified Reiki Master, E.F.T. My eternal gratitude goes to all my teachers and guides, among whose are:
- Piera Puente, Psychologist, Holistic Therapist, Tarot and Jyotish Teacher from Lima, Peru.
- Swami R. Shukla, Usui Reiki Ryoho Master from Lucknow, India.
- Chrysta Lynn, Slavic Folk Healing Shamanic Practitioner, Reiki Master, Crystal Healing Practitioner & Teacher, certified BodyTalk Practitioner & Teacher and Chartered Herbalist from Vancouver, Canada
- Don Oscar Miro Quesada, Kamasqa curandero and Altomisayoq, Pachakuti Mesa Tradition cross-cultural Shamanism founder from Lima, Peru.
- Alberto Villoldo, Ph.D., Shamanic Teacher and Researcher from Cuba. Through practice and experience I have developed a profound and intuitive understanding of human psychology and behaviour that allows me to help others enduring crisis, physical and emotional disease, in an effective and direct but yet compassionate way. I work with loving crystals and use them in all holistic therapies to allow our bodies, the physical, ethereal, mental, emotional and spiritual, regain their natural balance and harmony. Being an empath, since early childhood my high sensitivity opened the doors for clairaudience, clairsentience and clairvoyance that allow me to receive and channel messages for the highest purpose of healing and clearing. I have been living in Port Moody, B.C. for the last four years with my husband and daughter and feel deeply blessed to be part of this community surrounded by pristine nature and welcoming people where I can keep learning and contributing. With this feelings in my heart the idea of growing a healing devoted 'tribe' where we could share, teach and learn about the holistic world became an ideal and a personal dream ...and here I am !

Winter Solstice
is a slow walk in the quiet snow.
It is ceremony, an embracement of
celestial unity & acknowledgement of humility.
The shortest day is cold; it is darkness, solitude
and the last chance to transition into hibernation.
It is the hug of a blanket, the warmth of a fire
and the smell of wood and earth.
It is a long night in December when the
ancestors twinkle in the sky and we stare into memories.
It is peace, it is comfort, it is a bittersweet reminder
that we have worked and played.
It’s time to sit quietly and reflect for a while, now.
It is a spectacular moment in the cycle
when we rest in a full state
of calm, quiet &

Today is National Indigenous Peoples Day ( ). For generations, many Indigenous groups and communities have celebrated their culture and heritage on June 21 or around that time of year because of the significance of the summer solstice as the longest day of the year.

Join us tomorrow, June 22, 5-9pm at Rocky Point Park for a Coast Salish House Post Blessing Ceremony and Feast. PoMoArts will be building a collaborative biodegradable sculpture led by artist Nickie Lewis entitled Life Cycle: connecting generations through nature’s process of renewal. Come and add your branches to this sculpture with our community.

Join us tomorrow as we move forward in reconciliation together.
