Intro to Animal Flow - Tomorrow 5PM

Curious about Animal Flow but never tried it?
This absolute beginner-friendly class is the perfect place to start.
No stress. No pressure. Just a fun, supportive environment where you’ll explore how to move your body in new ways. 60 mins with opportunity to stay longer if desired.

This class is complimentary for those wanting to experience.

Are you looking to freshen up your typical gym experience? Or simply try something new? Heard of or seen calisthenics and think you can’t do it?Come experience calisthenics for yourself this summer.

What?
Calisthenics is strength (resistance) training using your own body as the resistance instead of traditional weights. It has multiple health and wellness benefits (strength, mobility, stability, flexibility, stamina, posture, balance, coordination, proprioception, joint friendly and more) can include skills training and, crucially, offers a fun and varied training regimen.

These intro sessions are suitable for all age and fitness levels. We will guide you through the essential movements at a pace and progression suitable for you.

Come to one session to simple explore ($15) or book a series of 4 sessions to actually experience improvement ($45). There are multiple days and times to engage (contact for options) - but we are targeting Saturday morning as a dedicated into session for those that haven’t been to Gravity previously.

We will run these intro session through July and August.

Over summer, we’re putting on a series of “Intro to” events for Handstands, Movement Training, Calisthenics, Mobility to name a few. First to launch is an Introduction to Rowing.

Starts this Sunday 6July and is available every Sunday throughout July and August. Sunday doesn’t work, it’s possible to attend Wednesday or Friday - just ask.

This is suitable for all fitness / experience levels. We row outside and at this time in the morning the temperature is perfect.

Rowing has tremendous health and wellness benefits and is a full body strength and metabolic conditioning workout, with over 85% of the body’s muscles utilized. See our blog post for some insight:

Summer Handstand Programs - June, July and August 2025.

Tired of your traditional gym? History of injuries? want to try something new, move well and perform better? Or always wanted to learn to Handstand? This beginner focused program is for you.

Come join us for our beginner intro to Handstand programs.

Each program is 3 weeks, 2x per week. To try and accommodate busy schedules, there will be 4 sessions per week to choose which 2 you will attend - 2 x morning and 2x evening sessions. There is also an optional weekend session - use if can’t make one session in week or as a bonus practice session.

You will learn essential prep and training drills that are simply a great strength, flexibility, skill development workout that translate to handbalancing directly. Check out our syllabus for further details.

Honoured to serve western Canada/Pacific North West as a Regional Leader for .

Animal Flow has been a powerful force in my life—both personally and professionally. What started as a movement practice soon became a deeper journey into mobility, strength, connection, creativity, and community.

As a Regional Leader, my role is to help grow and support the Animal Flow community, to mentor new Flowists, and to continue bringing this incredible practice to more people—from beginners discovering their bodies to experienced movers exploring new ground.

From the studio floor of to Intro Sessions, Master Classes, Jams, flows in the park, and international events, I’m here to support the AF tribe with purpose and passion.

Thank you to .af, the Master Instructor team, the amazing team of certified trainers at Gravity and the community of Flowists in this evolving movement family.
