To all of my incredible clients, I want to thank you so much for being awesome and excited for me, for my bucket-list trip! I am back home now and as promised, here are some pictures of penguins 🐧😍

Wishing A L L of you and your loved ones the most magical holiday season! 🥰

Remember… when it feels like too much, become a penguin…just belly flop into the snow and slide your way into peace and calm. 🙏💫

Finally got a minute to be able to put this mini talk of mine, out there! ✨ (5th time is a charm right?! Lol who knew it would be so hard 😓 )

I really hope it's helpful to you all 🙏❤️

I often get asked questions related to this, so thought a video explanation might help. (This... despite the fact that I cringe hearing my own voice and seeing video of me 🙈🙉🙊🙃)

We the public, haven't heard much regarding the changes to Autism Funding and Support Services, but on June 2nd there was a debate between and the official opposition, watch it here:

Every neurodiverse child deserves support - this we can all agree on. However, taking support away from one group to thin out and spread across several groups, is not the answer. Watered down support = watered down progress, which can result in an individual requiring more support in the long term. Why not just increase support and funding for ALL kids? We can do this Canada. These kids are our future, let's give them their best chance at success. 💫

June 2, 2022. Leader of the Official Opposition Kevin Falcon questions Premier John Horgan on the NDP's decision to cancel individualized autism funding in B.C.

Felt the need to share as I've had unfortunately more and more parents share such stories with me. 😔

Sometimes there's too much information out there, and other times not enough. I hope this little piece of advice can go a long way for family's when looking to hire their support team 🙏

Glad to see this happening. The government needs to hear from the families, children and youth that are directly impacted by this decision.

Tomorrow, AutismBC travels to the Legislature in Victoria for an in-person sit down with Minister Dean. We will be raising questions and concerns on behalf of the twenty-four organizations that met on Monday to discuss the changes to the CYSN Framework. Our organizations represent and give voice to tens of thousands of families in BC. We hope Minister Dean will recognize our lived experience and expertise and engage us in meaningful consultation to chart a better course for the future of children and youth with support needs.
