Kidz Venture Active Club is an inclusive space for a child to develop their physical, mental, and emotional skills. Our mission is to provide an athletic development program that challenges each child’s capability, to enhance the value of team morale, to provide friendly competition, and to teach life skills through sports and educational play. In addition to our athletic development program, Kidz Venture also offers an ABA Clinic where we provide one-on-one therapy. Our team of experts design individualized programs to manage symptoms and develop life skills in various areas, such as language and communication, social and motor skills, learning and academics, and personal independence. We will engage and impact our community through positive experiences and provide an opportunity for children to thrive, learn new skills, and have fun.

🌺 Remembrance Day at KVC

Today we wear our poppies and take a quiet moment to say ‘thank you’ to the people who helped keep us safe.

At KV this week we will continue to talk about kindness, helping others, and peace in ways our little ones can understand. One example of involving your little one on Remembrance Day is making red poppy crafts, read gentle stories about caring for one another, and practiced taking a calm, quiet moment together.

It’s never too early to teach love, gratitude, and respect.

Every giggle, sound, and new word is a milestone worth celebrating!
Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) play a key role in helping toddlers build strong communication skills early on through play, connection, and everyday moments.

Early speech therapy can help toddlers:

- Develop listening and understanding skills
- Expand their vocabulary and confidence
- Strengthen oral motor and feeding abilities
- Reduce frustration by giving them tools to express themselves

The earlier we support communication, the brighter the journey ahead.

Halloween cuteness overload!

These tiny trick-or-treaters are ready for spooky season but comfort always comes first. When choosing costumes for your little ones, look for soft, breathable fabrics that won’t irritate sensitive skin. Avoid scratchy seams, stiff materials, or tags that can cause discomfort.
Tip: Cotton blends and organic fabrics are perfect for keeping your toddler cozy and happy while they show off their adorable Halloween style!

Healthy Halloween Snacks for Toddlers! 👻

Halloween isn’t just about candy, it’s the perfect time to make snack time fun and healthy! Here are some toddler friendly ideas:

- Monster Veggie Cups: Fill small cups with colorful veggies like carrot sticks, cucumber, and bell peppers. Add a dollop of hummus or yogurt dip and let the little ones “feed the monsters”!

- Pumpkin Cheese Bites: Use small cubes of cheese and arrange them like mini pumpkins. Add a tiny piece of cucumber or celery for the stem.

- Mummy Mini Sandwiches: Wrap small sandwiches with a strip of whole-grain tortilla or cheese to look like mummies. Add a raisin “eye” for extra fun!

- Apple Monsters: Slice apples and add peanut butter or cream cheese, then stick on raisins for teeth or eyes.

Healthy, fun, and toddler approved! Let your toddlers help with the “monster creations” it’s sensory play + healthy eating in one!

If things get a bit overwhelming:
- Take a quiet break
- Offer hugs or gentle squeezes
- Dim lights & reduce noise
- Keep comfort items close

It’s okay to leave early or skip an activity, Halloween should feel safe, calm & fun for everyone!
