A2B Forming is proud to be a part of the Capilano Water Supply Area Infrastructure Upgrades.

This includes a new power house building, a back up fuel vault building, a new gatehouse and 1500ft of duct banks that go through the park.

Our company will be responsible for all structural and architectural concrete work. This includes forming, placing, finishing, stripping, and managing formwork and concrete.

Systems were using is the Doka Frami or Framax Xlife for vertical formwork. We will also be using doka for the suspended slabs.

We’re happy to be working with NAC to get this project completed on schedule with the highest degree of safety and quality.

A2B forming is doing a massive hiring due to a sudden surge in work. Multiple projects coming up and already in progress in multiple locations such as Vancouver, Langley, Coquitlam, and Maple ridge.

We are in need of Carpenters, Helpers, Crane Riggers and Forman.

Your daily tasks will be:

Measuring, cutting, and assembling of wood materials to create form work. Assembling scaffolding, joisting and sheeting. Forming architectural and structural concrete. Types of form work include: Gang form, free forming, suspended slabs with generic scaffolding.

Workers should have proper PPE gear such as steel toes boots, hard hat, and high vis vest. If you can use a tape measure and a skill saw, and have good work ethic and attitude, than you can apply for the helper position. Experience for helper position is a bonus but not necessary. Carpenters should have a minimum of 2 years exp. Forman must have minimum 8 years exp, Rigger minimum 1 year exp.

Workers looking to apply to the water treatment facility job in maple ridge will need fall protection ticket and whmis. If you do not have fall protection or whmis we can provide you with the training, let us know and we will put you on the list to receive training.

Helpers should have a small work pouch and hand tools (eg: hammer, tape measure).
