Let’s talk Botox….

What does it do?
It softens fine lines and wrinkles that are caused by muscle movements. It can help prevent progression of wrinkles overtime.

What areas do we treat?
The most commonly treated areas are in the upper face- frown lines, forehead lines, & crow’s feet.

How long does it last?
Botox lasts 3-4 months, & takes 4-10 days to take effect

Is it painful?
Botox is quick & virtually painless. Very fine needles & ice prior to treatment helps to make it comfortable.

Do men get Botox?

Under eye filler 👀

I have consults for under eye treatments all the time, not everyone is a good candidate for under eye filler. It really depends on the anatomy and your concerns.

Hollow under eyes or Volume loss: this would be a candidate for filler. Hyaluronic acid fillers will soften hollows and provide a more rested look.

Dark circles or Hyperpigmentation: Not good filler candidates as the filler is placed deep below the skin and won’t change pigmentation that is on the skin. Brightening products would be a better option for this.

Crepy/thin skin: Not a good filler candidate. This is better addressed with PRF (platelet rich fibrin) treatments to build collagen and strengthen the skin.
