We are so happy to welcome Shaina O’Neill to the team at Vita Vitalis 😊

Shaina offers two different disciplines within our clinic:

🌿 Registered Massage Therapy (RMT)
With over 12 years of experience, Shaina provides compassionate, trauma-informed approach designed to support both the body and nervous system. Her sessions are ideal for those who value slowing down and developing a mindful connection with their body. Using guided breathing, gentle to moderate pressure, and a collaborative approach, she helps ease tension while supporting regulation and deep relaxation. Shaina integrates a blend of Swedish massage, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, visceral techniques, and osteopathic-inspired work. Her work is rooted in consent, clear communication, and creating a safe therapeutic environment.

(RMT sessions are eligible for insurance coverage.)

🤍 Somatic Experiencing (SE)

Offered as a separate service, Somatic Experiencing is a compassionate, body-centred approach that helps resolve trauma symptoms and relieve chronic stress — without requiring you to re-tell or re-live traumatic events. Instead, sessions gently support you in reconnecting with your body’s natural ability to regulate and restore. This process can help reset the nervous system, build resilience, restore inner balance, and increase vitality. Sessions may take place seated or on the massage table (fully clothed). With consent, gentle somatic touch may be incorporated to support nervous system regulation.

SE may support:
• Anxiety & prolonged stress
• PTSD & trauma recovery
• Chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia & Long COVID
• Digestive concerns & headaches
• Injury recovery
• Fertility, pregnancy, postpartum & parenting support

(Please note Somatic Experiencing sessions are not covered under RMT insurance plans.)
