🍁 September always feels like a gentle reset. After a summer of no schedules, spontaneous adventures, and indulging in all the things—late nights, travel, beach days, and ice cream just because—it feels grounding to return to something steady.

This time of year brings a natural shift. The days start to cool, routines return, and with them, a renewed sense of intention. It’s the perfect moment to come back to ourselves—to care for our bodies with more presence, to calm our minds, and to reconnect with what truly nourishes us. 🍂🧘‍♀️

With every class filled, my heart is, too. ❤️ Thank you for showing up, for choosing your well-being, and for sharing this space with me.

I can’t wait to move, stretch, and breathe this season. Let’s make this fall one of balance, strength, and renewal!

For many years, I thought self-care was something “nice” I’d get to someday. Often putting myself last...

What I’ve learned? It’s not a luxury — it’s a necessity.
💜 It is not selfish, it’s showing yourself love and compassion.
It doesn’t have to be big or complicated … even 5 minutes to
✨ Roll your shoulders and take 3 deep breaths before you open your emails.
✨ Step outside, close your eyes, and feel the sun on your face.
✨ Do something you love — your favourite hobby, a short walk, or a few pages of a good book.
✨ Curl up on the couch and simply be.

Small moments add up. stretch, breathe, or simply pause can make all the difference.

You matter too. Fill your cup, even just a little, every day.

🌸 Happy National Women’s Day to all my beautiful students! 🌸

Today, as we celebrate the strength, beauty, and resilience of women everywhere! Warrior 2 pose, a powerful and grounding posture that captures the very essence of what it means to be a woman.

When I step into Warrior 2, I feel my feet firmly rooted into the ground — a reminder of my strength. My heart wide open — a reminder of my courage. And my gaze unwavering — a reminder of my focus and determination.

The next you flow into Warrior 2 feel the power within you. Feel the fire in your heart. And remember — you are capable of more than you know, and your strength is limitless.

Here’s to all the warriors, the nurturers, the dreamers, and the doers. 💪❤️

I LOVE adding Hands to Heart during our practice… here is why:

❤️ Activates self-compassion – Holding your heart creates a sense of comfort and kindness toward yourself.
🧘‍♂️ Grounds your energy – It brings awareness to the present moment and helps regulate emotions.
💓 Stimulates the vagus nerve – This helps calm the nervous system, reducing stress and anxiety.
🌿 Enhances heart-brain coherence – Focusing on your heart center can promote inner peace and emotional balance.

Next time you meditate, take a moment to rest your hands over your heart, breathe deeply, and feel the warmth of your own presence. You might be surprised by the sense of peace and connection it brings.

How I prepare myself before my students arrive?
I take a few moments to ground myself and set clear intentions for the class ahead. Teaching yoga is more than just leading asanas—it’s about holding space for connection, growth, and healing.

I start by centering myself with deep breaths and reflecting on what I want to bring into the space:
✨ Presence – Showing up fully in the moment for my students.
✨ Compassion – Meeting each individual where they are today.
✨ Support – Creating a safe, welcoming environment where everyone can relax and heal.
✨ Gratitude – Honoring the privilege of guiding others on their journey.

These quiet moments remind me of why I teach and help me align with the energy I want to share. It’s not just about the poses—it’s about the peace, the community, and the transformation that happens in the space we create together.
