The brand-new X-ray equipment at the Port Perry Hospital is up and running — delivering clearer images, lower radiation, and improved comfort for patients and staff.

Thanks to the support of the Port Perry Hospital Foundation and our amazing Diagnostic Imaging team, high-quality care is now even closer to home for the North Durham community.

🕊️ Feeding the Birds – A Thanksgiving Thank You🐦

Our amazing team member Ruth Griffin, bird feeder extraordinaire, would like to thank everyone for helping to Feed the Birds at Port Perry Hospital! Ruth fills the feeders outside every patient window, bringing peace and joy to our patients. Even our furry friends pitch in planting sunflower seeds that brighten our gardens too. 🌻

As we celebrate this season of gratitude, a sincere thank-you from Ruth and all of us at Port Perry Hospital Foundation.

💪 Volunteer Call-Out! Be Part of a Day of Fun – STRONG in Scugog!

Are you looking to make a difference in your community and have a great time doing it? We’re looking for energetic, positive, and community-minded volunteers to help make STRONG in Scugog an unforgettable experience!

📅 Date: October 4, 2025
📍 Location: Port Perry Fairgrounds
🕘 Time: 7:00 to 4:00 (event is 8:00 to 3:00)

This exciting day is all about community strength, connection, and celebration and we need your help to bring it to life!

Volunteer roles include:
✅ Event set-up & take-down
✅ Welcoming guests & information booths
✅ Activity/game station support
✅ Assisting with kids’ zones & family activities
✅ Floaters & helping hands wherever needed!

Whether you can give an hour or the whole day, your time and energy will help create a vibrant, inclusive, and fun environment for all ages.

🧡Standing Together for Truth and Reconciliation - September 30 and Every Day

It’s a sea of orange around Port Perry Hospital today as our staff and volunteers come together in honour of Truth and Reconciliation Day.

We wear orange to remember and honour the survivors of residential schools, their families, and their communities and to reaffirm our commitment to learning, listening, and walking the path of reconciliation.
