We are deeply saddened to hear of Peggy Mays passing. She was a truly wonderful person who will be greatly missed. Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family, friends, and the entire Southport community.

It is with deep sadness that Southport Aerospace Centre’s Board of Directors alongside the entire Southport family, announces the passing of Southport’s leader and CEO, Peggy May.

Peggy May passed at home with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

Over the past 13 years, Peggy May has fearlessly led and influenced the development of Southport. Her guidance, tenacity and friendship will be missed by all those that had the sincere pleasure of knowing her and working alongside her.

An obituary will be released in the coming days.
