For a few people who have been having trouble submitting claims under the Telus portal, be assured that the problem is finally fixed. Except that it could still take another two weeks for everything to be running 100%. Let me know if you are still having issues.

It is a significant weather day today so if at all possible stay where you are. All appointments are cancelled for today as Fisher Ave is blown in and vehicles of any type will struggle to get here. If you live within walking distance and want to stop by then you are more than welcome!

Have you used up all of your massage therapy benefits for this year? Wondering how you will make it through until January 1st? Fear not - you may still have coverage! If your plan has a Health Spending Account you can use it to bump up your coverage. The only drawback is the provider cannot do direct billing on your behalf, you must claim it yourself. Don't forget to use up your HSA before the end of the year!

After years of disrupted service I am in the process of changing phone and internet provider. Please use my temporary email centralplainsmuscletherapy@gmail.com until my new service gets completely set up. Although the phone number will remain the same there may still be some disruption in service. Facebook Messenger will be the most reliable means of contact for the next little while.

For the next few weeks I will be bird-sitting while my daughter is away. She thought the little girl would appreciate the friendly traffic in the office. And no surprise here, but she is nameless. She does sometimes get referred to as 'PB', which is short for purple budgie, NOT peanut butter!

For 7 full days there has been a soil sampling crew across from my office. 12 hour days including the weekend. Drilling monitoring wells, taking samples, shovelling, testing, surveying, mapping, finding hidden surprises - this crew earned their paychecks this week! The full crew was 6 people but I missed getting a group photo as they have been wrapping things up and this afternoon only Kelby was onsite to close things up. They have been great temporary neighbours and depending on what their sampling reveals they may be back for more work in a few months. I hope they are.

What a wonderful duty to announce the arrival of Micheline Berard! She has taken up residence in my office and is providing excellent footcare. This afternoon I said farewell to Pattie as she finished up with her practice and emptied out her room. She is off to start on a new adventure and I wish her well. She has been a wonderful tenant for the last few years. It will be different around here without her.
