Listen - we get it. Water can be daunting and extremely hard to consume some days. With that being said here are reasons why you should consider getting your water intake consumed. πŸ‘‡πŸΌ

1) Muscle Function : proper hydration maintains fluid balance in your muscles. Which is essential for optimal strength, power & endurance during exercise.

2) Prevention Of Muscle Cramps: dehydration can lead to electrolyte imbalances, which increases the risk of painful muscle cramping during physical activity of any sort.

3) Temperature Regulation: During exercise the body generates heat. Adequate hydration supports thermoregulation preventing over heating and enhancing performance.

4) Joint Lubrication : Hydration helps maintain the elasticity and lubrication of joints, reducing the risk of joint pain & injuries. It’s especially important for athletes and active individuals.

5) Recovery & Repair: hydration plays a crucial role in the recovery process, post exercise by transporting nutrients to the muscles removing waste products. It speeds up muscle repair and reduces muscle recovery time.

Isometric Mid-Thigh Pull πŸ‹πŸ½

Our off season training athletes began their program with a battery of testing which will help guide our programming through the offseason sessions. One of the tests used is the isometric Mid-Thigh Pull (IMTP) .

The IMTP is a test used to measure maximal strength. It is a simple, time- efficient & safe alternative to traditional strength testing. It can be administered quickly which allows for monitoring of progression through out the program.
