Mental Health Awareness Week 💚

This week is a reminder that mental health matters—every day, for everyone.

Whether you're feeling strong, struggling, or somewhere in between, your experiences are valid. Taking care of your mental health can look different for each person: reaching out to a friend, taking a break, setting boundaries, or asking for support.

At our clinic, we’re here to support not just your physical health, but your mental well-being too. You are not alone.
Let’s continue to create a community where it’s safe to talk, to listen, and to care for one another.

Canada is experiencing the largest measles outbreak since it was declared eliminated in Canada in 1998. In Manitoba, measles cases are increasing, including through school exposure.

Early symptoms of measles include fever, cough, runny nose, and red, watery eyes, followed several days later by a red, blotchy rash that starts on the face and spreads to the rest of the body. Measles can be very serious, especially for young children, pregnant people, and those with a weakened immune system.

If you think you or your child(ren) may have measles:
- Stay home and avoid contact with others.
- Contact your healthcare provider for further advice, and call ahead before visiting any healthcare facility. This will allow them to take precautions, such as wearing a mask and putting you in a room right away to prevent exposing other people.

Manitoba Public Health is advising parents to consider measles risks while travelling or when attending large gatherings.

Vaccination is the best way to prevent measles for yourself, your family and to help protect those who cannot be vaccinated but may be vulnerable such as young infants.

March is Social Work Month 💙

This month, we recognize and celebrate the incredible work of social workers and the vital role they play in supporting the health and well-being of our patients and community.

Social workers bring compassion, advocacy, and expertise to every interaction—helping patients navigate challenges, access resources, and feel supported through difficult times. Their work often happens behind the scenes, but its impact is felt every day.

Thank you to our social workers for the care, dedication, and heart you bring to your work. We are grateful for everything you do.
