✨ Stable Life Funding Announcement ✨

We are so excited to share that Stable Life Inc. has been awarded $50,000 through the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Community Violence Prevention Grants Program, under the Office of Women and Gender Equality.
This funding will support a 12-week, trauma-informed initiative for Indigenous youth and their families, combining private and group equine-assisted sessions rooted in culturally safe practices. 🐎💙

We are deeply grateful to the Honourable Sherry Gambin-Walsh, Minister Responsible for Women and Gender Equality, and to the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and Women and Gender Equality Canada for recognizing the importance of programs that foster healing, resilience, and safe spaces for Indigenous youth and families.
This grant helps us continue building a stronger, healthier community where people feel supported, empowered, and connected.

🌟 Meet Winnie! 🌟

We’re so excited to welcome a new pony to the barn family at Stable Life! 🐴💜
Winnie (formerly known as Precious) was rescued by a kind family when she was just a foal. For the past 4 years, they gave her a loving home and the best start in life. As they are no longer able to care for her, they’ve entrusted her to us — and we are so grateful.

At only 4 years old, this tiny but mighty pony is full of heart. She really is a precious pony, and we know she’ll be a wonderful addition to our herd, bringing joy and healing as part of our mental health and wellness programs. 💕

Please help us give Winnie the warmest welcome to her forever home at Stable Life!

This year’s Spirit Horse Show was nothing short of incredible, and we want to thank every single person who made it possible.
To our sponsors – your generosity and belief in this event allowed us to create a space of kindness, healing, and connection.

To our competitors – you reminded us that this show is not about ribbons, points, or placings, but about courage, friendship, and the love we share with our horses.

To our volunteers – your hard work and dedication carried the heart of this show. We couldn’t do it without you.

To Alison’s family – thank you for being with us. It has been 12 years since Alison lost her battle with mental illness, and your presence means so much as we continue to honor her memory and the legacy she left in all of us.

And to everyone who came to watch, cheer, and support – thank you for braving the cold and damp to stand with us in creating a space where kindness comes first. Together, we raised over $10,000 in Alison’s memory, ensuring her light continues to guide and uplift others.

Join us for a fun-filled day at the Spirit Horse Show — spectators are welcome! Bring your own chair, relax, and enjoy the amazing horsemanship on display.
📍 Event Info:
🅿️ Spectator Parking: Please park to the right in the field.
🚛 Horses & Trailers Only: Use the main turnout to the left.
🚫 Do not enter the barn, and please be cautious around all horses for everyone’s safety.
🕘 Show Runs from 9 AM – 5 PM!
☕ Enjoy coffee, hot chocolate, and sweet treats throughout the day.
🔥 Grab a bite at our cash BBQ and support a great cause!

The Spirit Horse Show is not about ribbons, points, or placings. It’s about something much deeper. 💜🐴

We gather in memory of Alison Walsh, who lost her battle with mental health, to celebrate her life and the legacy she left in our hearts. This show is a reminder that what truly matters is not where we place, but the friendships we make, the courage we show, and the healing we find through our horses and each other.

Mental health touches every one of us in some way, and in a world that is not always kind, we choose to create a space where kindness leads the way. At the Spirit Horse Show, we stand together, lift each other up, and remember that connection will always matter more than competition.
