Eastholme's Dietary Staff does a wonderful job preparing hot meals for the Powassan Area every Wednesday. Doesn't this look delicious?
Powassan Meals On Wheels has been in existence for many, many years. Originally managed by a very dedicated group of volunteers belonging to the various local churches who would all take turns delivering.
Since those days the program has come under the umbrella of East Parry Sound Community Support Services and we too have a dedicated group of volunteers who take turns delivering every Wednesday.
If you, or someone you know, is experiencing difficulty preparing meals due to age, illness, disability, etc., reach out to our office for more details on eligibility to receive meals.
Or, if you like to give back to the community and are interested in volunteering to deliver the meals reach out to us for a volunteer application.
