Thank you Tania and family for this kind testimonial. It truly was a pleasure to work with you all.

Downsizing can be overwhelming and emotional. I’m here to help remove the clutter from your mind and home.

Over the past year, Katcher Guidance has shifted to focus more intentionally on supporting seniors (and their families) as they transition from a longtime family home into assisted living, long-term care or end of life.

I’ve been through this process personally, and I know how emotional and overwhelming it can feel. I’m here to help reduce the stress and overwhelm.

Today I wrapped up guiding Tania and her family on a journey that started back in March. Three things that stood out to help make this process smooth:

🔅They started the process early, giving space to make thoughtful decisions.
🔆 They chose one family member to be the main point of contact, which helped keep everything clear and efficient.
🔆 They stayed connected and open as family, asking for help when needed.

Katcher Guidance is here so you don’t have to do this alone. Expert advice helps to keep you on track.

If you or someone you love is preparing for this kind of transition, reach out I’m here to guide you step by step.

Sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is simply believe.
In healing. In change. In ourselves.

Belief steadies us.

And suddenly, the impossible starts to feel possible.

Do you believe in the power of belief?

Taking Time, Finding Ease

As we move into the May Long Weekend here in BC, I just want to gently remind you that this time is yours. Whether you’re soaking in the rain (wishing it was sun), catching your breath after a long week, or helping someone else do the same, I hope you find a little stillness.

At Katcher Guidance, I am all about transitions the big ones, small ones, the kind that reshape your days or simply your state of mind. Long weekends like this offer a quiet nudge to pause, check in, and realign.

So, wherever you find yourself this weekend, know that rest is not just allowed, know it’s vital.

And when Tuesday rolls around remember I am here to help you through transitions.

Trustworthy support when you need it most.

It will be a wet one folks! Campers stay dry. Gardeners no need to water this weekend. Parents have fun with the kids and jump in a puddle. Readers snuggle up in a cozy blanket. Enjoy what is in front of you.

Rise & Shine☀️✨

This cozy Saturday morning, I was happily sleeping in when my six-year-old walked in and said, “Mom, it’s time to get up and shine!”

I couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear. What a perfect mindset shift to start the day! So, I got up and decided to shine—because sometimes, all it takes is a little reminder.

So, we’re sharing this with all of you: Get up and shine today! 💛

Mindset and beliefs shape the outcome of your day—will you make it a bright one?

Happy Saturday!

Thoughtful Thursday ✨

Comment below: What word feels good to you—perfect or progress?

For me, the old saying “Practice makes perfect” has always stressed me out. It makes me feel like I’m chasing the unattainable, and if I’m not perfect, why even start? And honestly, once I’m “perfect” at something, then what? It feels like the end of the road.

But what if we change just one word?

Practice makes progress.

Progress feels fun, encouraging, and like there’s always room to grow and improve. Even pro athletes don’t perfect their game—they keep progressing, pushing themselves to be their best.

So that’s my little thought for today: A simple word shift can completely change the way something feels.

What about you? Does progress or perfect resonate with you more?
