I ran away home

Having practised in Vancouver for nearly 20 years was really interesting and fun and yet I felt increasingly irrelevant. People had stopped talking to each other and were only interested in their electronic screens. If I smiled walking down the street or made eye contact I noticed that the response was less than enthusiastic. People even edged away. Then, I came to Powell River to look for a property for a friend of mine and kind of fell in love with the city because people were walking around smiling. It had been so long since I had seen that I grabbed my friend’s hand and exclaimed, “Look, they’re smiling out loud.” She thought that it was wholly unremarkable. I stopped in a coffee shop and saw people talking and visiting with each other and not involved in their screens and phones. I felt like I had come home. I went back to Vancouver, packed my things and then I ran away home to Powell River. You can find me behind Marine Medical off Willingdon in a private practise setting working on everything, everyway. It really doesn’t matter what your health requirements are, mental, physical or emotional. It doesn’t matter if you just want a tune up or if you are really unwell. I will design a personalized program for you and we can start making your health wishes come true.
