Each week is truly special, and we feel so fortunate to spend this time with our residents. They enjoy baking, cooking, crafts, and music, and our building really feels like one big family. We share meaningful conversations, laughter, and so many moments filled with smiles and love. One thing that we appreciate is our volunteers. Their commitment to our community means so much to us and so much to our residents. ❤️
With the weather getting warmer, our residents enjoyed our new craft this week which will be placed throughout our home. These beautiful centre pieces were made with so much love and time with two great helpers. Big thanks to Payten and Sandra, our caring co-op students!

This week at Mayfield, we had the pleasure of celebrating our incredible volunteers! 🎉

With cake, refreshments, and wonderful music provided by Glenn and Ed, our residents enjoyed a truly special afternoon filled with smiles and gratitude. Their weekly visits bring so much joy to our home, and we are so thankful for the time, talent, and kindness they share.

At Mayfield, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all volunteers in our community. Your generosity makes such a meaningful difference, and so many moments like today wouldn’t be possible without you.

🌷 Welcome Spring 🌷
As the warmer weather arrives, our residents have been enjoying a variety of engaging activities, including exercise programs, games, and creative art projects. It has been wonderful to see everyone active and inspired. Our recent Food & Beverage Expo was a great success, providing a beautiful experience that was throughly enjoyed by all who attended. We would also like to extend our warmest birthday wishes to a very special resident, Janet, on her 83rd birthday. Janet holds a special place in our hearts, and we are grateful to celebrate this meaningful milestone with her. We wish everyone a very Happy Easter and a season filled with sunshine, joy, and continued moments of connection.

This Past week, we came together to celebrate St. Patricks Day while also taking time to remember our dear Jack. He is deeply missed, and things are not quite the same without him. We continue to hold him close in our hearts and think of him often. As the week came to a close, our residents shared moments filled with laughter, love, and togetherness-just the way Jack would have wanted.

What a change in weather we've had! While it may be chilly outside, inside our home it's been filled with warmth, creativity, and plenty of smiles. Our wonderful residents spent time creating beautiful beehives, showing just how talented and imaginative they truly are. The room was filled with laughter as everyone enjoyed friendly games of golf and darts, cheering each other on and sharing many joyful moments together. Days like these remind us how special our little community is. With creativity, friendship, and lots of laughter, there is truly never a dull moment in our home. It's a pleasure to see our residents come together and make such wonderful memories.

Special Birthday Celebration at Mayfield! 🎉

On March 10th, we had the pleasure of celebrating Betty Ann Molter’s 75th birthday here at Mayfield Retirement Residence! Betty Ann marked her special day surrounded by her family and friends, enjoying a beautiful cake, tea, and plenty of wonderful company.

It was lovely to see everyone come together to celebrate such a meaningful milestone. We are so happy Betty Ann had such a wonderful birthday party with her loved ones.
