A mini trip back to university today!
My previous work in palliative care ignited an interest in pain managment. I am still humbled to see people with medical trauma and illnnesses, many of whom have chronic pain.
Karla and I spent the day at the U of S Pain and Therapeutics Conference with such a vast array of professionals. It truly takes a team to meet each individual where they are at. So much learning accomplished today and a reminder that there is still such a stigma attached to pain. Overall, learning and Karla time is just what I needed.
