Today, we honour the courageous men and women who sacrificed for our peace and freedom. Their bravery reminds us of the resilience of the human spirit and the true cost of liberty. May we continue to cherish and protect the peace they fought for.

A funeral procession is more than a line of cars — it’s a journey of love and remembrance. It's important to show respect by slowing down and yielding so the procession can stay together, pulling over or stopping safely to let them pass, and keeping quiet by lowering music and avoiding honking.

A brief pause speaks volumes; your kindness offers comfort to grieving families and honours a life respectfully.

When someone loses a loved one, grand gestures aren't always the most meaningful. It's often the simple, heartfelt ones that bring comfort, like sending a meal when words fail or helping them with errands, housework, or childcare.

😞Are you or someone you know navigating griefs journey. Perhaps you have just started, or maybe you have been grieving for quite some time. ❤️‍🩹

There are many forms of grief - loss of a loved one, job loss, health issues, financial complications, divorce. All are welcome to attend.🤲

Rev. Nora Vedress is offering a 6 week Grief Support Program starting next week - Thursday October 16, 2025. This program can help you understand the grieving process in a small but supportive group of people in a similar situation.👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Talking with others who can understand your situation and can share ideas, you may find ways to understand the types and stages of grief, and find healthier ways to cope. 💖

📞Please call to see if this program is right for you and to register. 📞
