Very nice article on PA Now dot com in the PA Profiles section about a business owned and operated by one of our part time staff Keri Sapsford - the Backyard and Compost Corner.

At the heart of the business is its food scrap pickup and composting service, which allows residents, restaurants and businesses to divert waste from landfills and return it to the nutrient cycle. It’s a practical solution with measurable impact. In fact, it has already kept more than 124,000 pounds of food waste out of the landfill.

Proud to have like-minded people like Keri who care about the environment and our community as part of our team.

🌟Congratulations River Valley Resilience Retreat on four years of amazing support for the people of Prince Albert and area. Your hard work is extremely appreciated. 🤝

It is truly hard to believe that it’s been four years and two days since we closed on the purchase of our farm here on banks of the South Saskatchewan River. Looking back to April 25, 2022, the journey feels both like a lifetime ago and like it happened just yesterday.

This dream would never have become a reality without the incredible community that stood behind us. We are still so grateful to the supporters who responded to our Call for Support on the John Gormley Show; their belief in us changed everything. We also couldn't have navigated the complexities of this transition without the professional guidance of Royal LePage Icon Realty, Hilla Krogh Law Office, and the team at Affinity Credit Union.
