We’ve been using Thieves laundry soap for almost a year now and absolutely love it but after seeing some different dilution hacks to stretch your dollar, I thought it was time to try one. Who doesn’t want to save some money, am I right? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We love this soap because it’s free from SLS, SLES, dyes, petrochemicals, formaldehyde, phosphates, synthetic fragrances, and optical brighteners that are known as skin irritants and hormone disrupters. Who wants that all over their clothes? Not me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here’s what I did (and it was so quick and easy for all you non-DIY peeps):
- split the laundry soap into thirds in three 32oz containers
- put in 2 capfuls of Thieves Household Cleaners into each bottle
- added 15 drops of lemon essential oils (can use your fave EO here)
- Filled the rest with distilled or filtered water
- The number of pumps will depend on the size of our load but I plan to do between 3-5 per load.
I just made 64 loads into 192! 👏🏼 Making it $0.15 a load and under $10 a bottle. Yes, please 🌱

If you’ve been trying to switch to a more natural laundry soap but it’s just been “meh”, I encourage you to try some Thieves!
