I attended the 1st Busines to Business Expo this weekend to showcase a significant step forward for the company.
After a decade of providing care aide services, I saw the emotional and physical toll care giving has on the community and how much more support is needed, 3 years ago Humble was created.
Our new logo features the Canadian Gray Jay, also known as the "whiskey jack."
For Indigenous Peoples, the name "whiskey jack" is derived from the Cree word "Wisakedjak", a messenger of the forest who symbolizes the strength, wisdom, and spirit of community that we aim to embody in our work.
Known for its intelligence, resilience, and deep connection to the land, the Gray Jay is often seen as a benevolent guide.
Just as the Gray Jay leads lost hunters home, we aim to guide families toward greater independence and peace of mind.
In the end, weβre not just building businesses; weβre building a brighter future for our families, our neighbors, and the generations to come. Thank you again to the hosts for this event, I look forward to making more connections locally and around the globe! π¦ββ¬π π‘
