Eggs Benedict brings joy to our client. One way our caregivers help bring joy to our senior clients is through the comfort of food.🍳

Ingredients:
2 Eggs, poached
2 pieces of Canadian Bacon
1 Whole Wheat English Muffin, split in half and toasted
Hollandaise Sauce (recipe below)
White Vinegar
Chives
Salt and Pepper
Hot Sauce (optional)

Directions…
Immersion Blender Hollandaise Sauce
Ingredients…
10 T unsalted butter
3 large egg yolks
1 T of hot water
2 tsp lemon juice
1/8 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp kosher salt

Directions …
Combine the yolks in the base of the blender cup (the immersion blenders usually come with one) along with the lemon juice, warm water, the cayenne and a pinch of salt.
In a small saucepan, heat a stick of butter (approx 8-10 T) until it is completely melted and bubbling, approx 220 degrees with an instant read thermometer. Place the stick blender back in the cup and blend while slowly pouring the hot butter in. Blend for 30 seconds and your hollandaise
should be smooth, creamy, and ready to serve. Taste and adjust seasoning.

Comfort Keepers Shines at the BCNE Seniors Fair - Bringing Fun, Fitness & Care to Our Local Seniors!
We had an absolutely fantastic time at the BC Northern Exhibition Seniors Fair on Thursday, August 14, 2025, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth in Kin 3!
Decked out in ’70s pride for this year’s “Come and Knock on Our Door” theme, our Caregivers taught seniors easy and effective exercises they can do right at home—right alongside dozens of fellow community organizations offering vital services and resources.

At our booth, we:

- Demonstrated accessible home exercises to help seniors stay active and healthy

- Connected with hundreds of seniors and their families, sharing information and inspiration

- Joined a community-wide passport program that encouraged fairgoers to visit all 42 booths—helping bridge seniors to local services in one lively, convenient space.

It was a joyful, informative, and heartwarming day - exactly the kind of connection and support we strive for at Comfort Keepers.
