My little guy asked me the other day, “Mommy, why do you love yoga so much?” My response was easy: “Because it makes me feel so good.” A simple explanation that sums up what yoga brings to me, each time I practice: peace of mind, calm breath, capacity to handle the sh*t life throws my way, resiliency, a body that moves well and feels good, a body I am in-tune with, presence in my daily relationships and interactions, living with an open heart, acting with kindness whenever possible, striving to release anger, frustration, and worry. Honestly, yoga has been my anchor for over half my life and I don’t know where I’d be without it. How about you? Why do you practice yoga? ✨ 💛
