Our next milling day is almost here (Wednesday July 16) We're delighted that there are so many passionate bakers that are ordering flour right through the summer. With greenhouses, gardens and berry bushes flourishing at this time of year, fresh baking (with phenomenally fresh Black Fox Flour) is a great combination ❤️

Such an amazing day at the Farmer-Miller-Baker conference presented by the Baker’s Association of Canada and hosted by the incredible culinary staff at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. So honoured to be part of the panel and sharing the artisan milling perspective. Looking forward to future events and perhaps seeing some of the wonderful Black Fox Flour customers attend.

☀️ Hello June!!! A month full of sunshine and rainbows. It's great for keeping things green and getting the gardens off to a fantastic start. While you're waiting for the garden to grow, it's a wonderful time to be baking. We're all ready to mill your phenomenally fresh flour for your amazing breads, pizzas, pastas...mmmm! ❤️

☀️+ 🌧=🌷 With a good mix of sunshine and rain, the flowers and gardens are waking up and looking fantastic! It's such a great time of year for things to rise and shine. Speaking of rising and shining, it's also a great time to get in your next order so you can make some incredible breads, pizzas, baking, or pastas (our durum and emmer flours make excellent pastas).
