A few days ago Nancy McLeod sent me a note about a missing woman from Prince George. Normally, I would add her to my list and put up a post on the day she was last seen – in this case January 2. But then Nancy wrote: “I beg you to produce a full list because I believe there is a huge problem in that area. Please help draw attention to the problem.” It’s a good idea. So my friends, this is the start. If you have family members or friends who have been missing from Prince George prior to 2023 or if their murder is unsolved, please feel free to put their names and any other information you have into a comment on my website. If you are sharing this post on relevant pages or groups – and please feel free to do so – could you also be so kind as to monitor them and send me any names that are mentioned. 36-year-old BILLI-JO MINDEL disappeared from the downtown core of Prince George, British Columbia, Canada on January 2, 2024.
Her family and friends say that it is out of character for her to not keep in touch.
Billi-Jo is about 5’8” with a medium build, blue eyes and brown hair. Her hair is usually kept short but she often wears wigs.
Billi-Jo has several tattoos including distinctive facial ones of a large feather over her left eye and her initials by her right eye.
She has the nicknames, “Bee” and “Mosie”.

Many women experiencing homelessness will do anything they can to avoid the danger they face on the streets. This includes engaging in survival s*x.
Survival s*x isn’t widely discussed, but most women we work with have engaged in survival s*x in order to survive. Which is why we’re raising awareness of survival s*x in the week of International Women’s Day.
