Every day our care home operates with the support of highly qualified and specially trained nursing and professional staff who strive to ensure each of our residents continues to reach their highest level of functioning, in their Physical, Emotional and Social well being with the skill and gentle care we provide. The Staff at Birchview Residences are committed to providing a safe, caring, home-like environment for residents using the concept of Ageing in Place which follows the Eden Alternative Philosophy. Our goal is to enable each resident to achieve their optimal level of functional ability by providing care services appropriate for that individual. For example, we’ll try to cook their favorite recipes, or tailor outings to their personal interests and activity level – little things that can make a significant difference to an individual’s quality of life.

On behalf of the staff & residents at Birchview we would like to thank the Hart Highland Grade 7 class (approx. 53 students) for stopping in and spending time with us, the resident's loved visiting with you all and stocking were meet with smiles/tears of joy and the card for the nursing staff was amazing !!!
