❤️What a day at Emmaus House! Thank you SO much to Trevor Higham and Jen Higham for sponsoring each of our seniors and for handing out, in person, an absolutely beautiful balloon bouquet made by Carmen and her team at Chasse Designs. Also, thank you to the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation for spreading the love today around our city! Our seniors are very blessed!❤️

The hardest part about our job at Emmaus House is when we have to say goodbye to a much loved resident…and there have been so many over the years. So thankful to the Buchi family for allowing us the privilege of having had their dad Ivor at our home…and so thankful for the memorial bench on our property to honor him and remember him.❤️

So many thanks to David Buchi, Trudy Buchi and Annalise Choquette for their amazing hospitality and generosity today when they took residents from Emmaus House for a boat ride at Ness Lake! Everyone had such a great time and we are so thankful!

Every Thursday David Buchi comes to read to the residents at Emmaus House! They’ve just recently finished a book by Prince George’s Clarence Boudreau called “I Hear The Mountains Calling” and now they’ve started his wife Olga’s book “Castle to Cabins”! Many thanks to David for doing this every week! It’s a much enjoyed activity!

These 3 very adorable kids stopped by Emmaus House with their mom and nanny bearing gifts and an awesome Christmas greeting for the seniors who aren’t able to have visitors or go out to enjoy Christmas! The residents got to stand at the window and wave though! It truly brightened their day!!! We are thankful for thoughtful people!
