Ever thought of wearing jeans to yoga? Go for it! We often get asked what to wear. Honestly it is whatever you want. Our recommendation is something you can freely move in and feel comfortable temperature wise. Today Jeff decided to teach Yoga Works while wearing jeans because why not!

Do you struggle with squatting down and getting back up because of tight hips? Opening up the hips with these stretches may help. If you have super tight hips, don’t be surprised if your knees are up by your ears for the first while. Always be gentle when you stretch - never force anything for better long-term results.

Another tip for ya 👉🏼 in Warrior II / Reverse Warrior / Humble Warrior / Extended Side Angle - anchor your poses by keeping the outside edge of the back extended leg sealed down to the mat. I hope that helps and I look forward to seeing you on the mat - Book with Chinook ✨

Do you tip over when you do balancing poses? I do too 😆 One of the keys to keeping your balance is focussing your sight on a single point in front of you that is not moving. In yoga, we call it finding your Drishti.

Join Master Yoga Teacher Swati Suresh for an immersive 5-class journey designed for experienced yoga students ready to deepen their practice. Each class begins with grounding and gentle preparation, gradually building toward advanced postures. With Swati’s expert guidance, you’ll expand your strength, balance, flexibility, and awareness while refining your alignment and breath.

Series Structure

Classes 1–4: Progressive Learning (75 min)
Sep 26, Oct 1, Oct 3, Oct 8
6:00 pm - 7:15 pm
Each 75-minute session explores key families of advanced postures, breaking down alignment, modifications, and safe progressions. Swati will guide you step-by-step to cultivate both mastery and ease.

Class 5: Full Advanced Practice (2 hours)
Oct 29
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
A complete, flowing practice that integrates all the postures and principles from the previous sessions. This capstone class will challenge and inspire you while offering time for reflection and integration.

Who This Series Is For

This series is designed for experienced practitioners who are already comfortable with foundational poses and looking to expand their practice into more advanced postures with mindful sequencing and safe alignment.
