If your family has children with autism or suspected autism, apply by 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟱𝘁𝗵 for up to $500 in support!

The Child Development Centre of Prince George and District is now accepting applications for 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺. Successful applicants can receive up to $500 in support for:

• tuition/fees
• specialized sports, sensory, or communication equipment
• private autism assessment/diagnosis costs
• treatment costs for extra therapy

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆?
Families of children with autism or suspected autism who are under 19 years of age and living in Northern BC.

This grant is made possible through the 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱, established by the Bassermann Family with the Prince George Community Foundation. The annual income generated by this Fund sustains this grant program every year.

This Halloween, we teamed up with Pacific Autism Family Network - Prince George to host our first community-wide Sensory-Friendly Trick or Treat, and it was nothing short of amazing.

Thanks to generous donors and 20+ staff and volunteers, families could enjoy the festivities in a stress-free, inclusive setting — creating memories that might not have been possible otherwise.
