I will post more about my journey to remove the implant, get rid of the infection and getting back to my regular self once I have wrapped my head around it all.

I saw Dr Halka today who was shocked to hear the cancer diagnosis. He is so wonderful. He is looking for an orthopedic surgeon to remove my implant as soon as possible, he said if he can - he will be there with me during the surgery. He said I haven’t been myself in some time and he wants to help get me past this so I can shine. He’s truly the best surgeon I’ve ever known.

I am looking for ideas and suggestions- please help!

I have had this IV crap on my body for a week and I have linked the hose so bad it has sheered off. I think it’s happening on my wheelchair.
Does anyone have any ideas to prevent this from happening? I have 7 weeks left of this! I have tried to put something soft over the sharp parts of my chair but clearly that didn’t work.
I was thinking taping something to the hose like several rulers or something?

Something has made clearly aware to me over the past few months.
Being an amputee leads to enough missed days at work on its own.
Since I fell and injured my shoulder, obtaining concussive symptoms (traumatic brain injury) and whiplash has completely shattered my independence and my life. I am not working - being an administrative assistant was perfect for me being an amputee and I am great at my job and I love it. Not now. I can barely sit at the computer for half an hour before the headache becomes unbearable. I am now planning my appointments by whether or not I’ll be able to sit in daylight and for how long instead of how many stairs or where it is.
Being in constant pain isn’t a stranger to me but this head, neck, ear and eye agony I have been living with is the frickin worst. It affects how I see, speak, and think. Even how I hear in my left ear.
This is ruining my life. No matter how positive I try to be - this is destroying me.
